Oftentimes, our desktop is cluttered with so many files from various extensions. There are some documents cluttering the screen followed by video files we just download. Interesting, but by being limited to desktop only, it is of very little use
This is a reasonable approach to the concept (and one I’ve seen before, more or less, in other applications going back to MacOS 9). The problem to me is that most of us don’t actually have messy desktops, but other directories. Or messy desktop AND other messy directories. I mostly need a utility like this for the Downloads folder, and my DropBox directory, and for some other specific folders (e.g. ones where my Android or iOS apps copy files over from DCIM and other folders on my mobile devices).
PS: It’s sorely confusing that you post this as a "free" app but with "Pro" in the name, yet it’s really an expensive annual subscription (no one is going to subscribe to an app that doesn’t do anything new, sorry), but then you also just sell the app without "Pro" in its name for a one-time fee of $5, AND they also have radically different version numbers despite being released within days of each other. That’s kind of senseless and disorganized.
Anyway, I would be happy to buy the app for $5, but only if it worked on more than just the Desktop. I’ll be uninstalling this subscription demo thing, though.
Cleaned up my desktop
Declutter worked as promised. It moved all my files into individual folders and cleaned up my desktop like new. I didnt have to do much at all, the app kind of takes care of everything.
