Battery Time Remaining v2 4+

This app doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of its competitors (some just looking to differentiate themselves in a crowded category), but I was only looking for 2 things — a Menu Bar icon that displays how much time is left when my MB is unplugged, and an icon that doesn’t look ugly while doing it. (Apple removed the option to display time remaining because the estimate fluctated too much, but an inconsistent ballpark estimate still gives you a general feel for how much time is left.)

I must give Kudos to this developer for the most subtly beautiful Menu Bar battery icon I’ve every seen in all my years as a Mac user. Some really subtle line drawing must be required in order to differentiate one starkly simple Menu Bar battery icon from another, but whatever magic was used makes for a really sharply defined icon for being so tiny. It’s as if some competior icons aren’t just mediocre afterthoughts but also not Retina ready. And though it's just an icon I’m gushing over, clicking that icon displays a simple but nicely ordered menu of info and options — all of it very Mac-like.

One nagging visual niggle I have is that for some odd reason this perfect icon is inexplicably placed oddly low on the Menu Bar. I’m not sure why it’s not more centered because it’s easy to see. All my Menu Bar icons are on an even horizontal plane, and then there’s this battery icon that sits a pixel or two lower than the rest. Fix that (or give us placement options like some competing apps, like vertical/horizontal orientation, or icon size and position) and this is a perfect 5 Star app!

I just purchased this app … but unfortunately, after downloading I can’t get it to open. I’ve turned every stone and can’t for the life of me get it to open. Can you offer a solution to this problem? Obviously, if I can’t get it to open I’d like a refund. I’m not paying for something that won’t even open .. as a result, I’m giving it a 1 star. However, if this can be fixed I’ll rate it much higher, thanks!

it says "change text color". What it should say is "white text or black text" Those are the only "color" choices. You can't choose your own color, like blue or whatever…. Also "display Fahrenheit" does not work….
