Quick Settings Avatar is a Gnome 43+ extension that simply adds your user avatar to the Quick Settings panel, next to the system related settings (either on the right or the left side). • You can choose the placement of the avatar to be either on the right or the left side of the panel:

Left side	Right side

• Ability to re-size the avatar picture.
• Display your name, username and/or hostname next to the avatar picture.
• Clicking on the avatar will open the User settings.

I have only tested it on laptop devices, mobile and desktop might present some visual issues, install it at your own risk.
