Missing all options
Paid. Downloaded. Downloaded drivers as well... Still only has file booster (missing the other menus) and now all of the audio sounds like garbage (no matter how quiet). Everything is distorted and sounds like you're trying to listen to your friends 1980s radio recorded mix tape through a door.
Volume Boost
This app does a system wide volume boost. I don't know why Apple has such an aggressively low limit when it comes to their headphone volume. This app fixed it.
Sound Booster
I paid $5.99 for Sound Booster, hoping it would boost the sound while watching a video, but it turns out to work only on files. But it recommends Sound Booster Driver, which is free, so I download that and installed it, but using it turns off the sound (to my internal speakers) completely. Hence the lowest rating: it doesn't do what I needed to do, and I wasted $5.99
