LCrypt is a free and open-source software that provides encryption, hashing and generation techniques.
It was written in C# and uses WPF as UI framework. The application window features a sleek UI, which even comes with multiple alternative color themes. LCrypt was awarded with the "100% FREE" Softpedia certification that guarantees that LCrypt is 100% Free, which means it does not contain any form of malware, including but not limited to: spyware, viruses, trojans and backdoors.

- Windows Data Protection API (DPAPI)

- Message Digest Algorithm 5 (MD5)
- Secure Hash Algorithm 1 (SHA-1)
- Secure Hash Algorithm 256 (SHA-256)
- Secure Hash Algorithm 384 (SHA-384)
- Secure Hash Algorithm 512 (SHA-512)

Following text encodings can be used for hashing:
- ASCII
- UTF-7
- UTF-8
- UTF-16 (Windows Unicode)
- Big Endian UTF-16
- UTF-32
For password generation, LCrypt uses a custom generator based on a cryptographic Random Number Generator
On the release page is always the latest stable version available. The files are provided as .zip and can be extracted and executed. No installation is necessary. To execute LCrypt, .NET Framework 4.6.2 must be installed. You can also download a recent version of LCrypt on Softpedia:
