Description
MidiKit is a MIDI file browser/editor and batch processor. The browser quickly displays the most significant information about MIDI files. The editor allows native SMF editing with unlimited undo/redo capacity. Finally, MidiKit allows you to apply several operations on your MIDI files by batch processing entire disks at a time!

- You can now enter any program change number on channel 10 (only GM drum patches were allowed before).

Properly handles corner-cases!
After spending an afternoon writing my own MIDI parsers and filters and transformers using several different Python MIDI-manipulation libraries... well, this app "just worked".
Every other "roll it myself" option would mostly work, but there were always oddities in the MIDI files produced.
This app effortlessly sucked in, edited, and spat out MIDI files that could even be used by my esoteric (and rather old) MIDI consumers.
Well worth the money, and thank you for the effort putting this app together!
Can't realy edit everything
I am trying to add a program change for channel 10 drum set on a Ketron. The MidiKit pulldown menu only lists a few options in GM and doesn't seem to let you enter a bank and program number other than those shown. Another example where simplicity is more important than flexibity in use. I just need a simple list editor with access to all the fiels, which this evidently is not. Would give 5 stars if I could accomplish this one thing.

There is actually a workaround: change the channel from 10 to any other, choose program change (by number), and restore channel 10. It's not elegant but it works.
In any case I welcome your suggestion and the next version will allow you to choose any of the 128 PCs on the drum channel.

Fantastic App!
Great app! I use this every day. I work with a few DAW's and this app is so good at fixing midi problems I experience. This new version lets you fix everything that needs fixing. Assign tracks fix channels etc. Thanks to the creator and the price is great for such a helper app. Support is fantastic as well.
