Frame tool buttons

EPSON Scan Tool Light provides two modes for different uses: Home Mode and Professional Mode. This version offers the following advanced features:

Home Mode --- For ease of use, EPSON Scan Tool Light provides Home Mode which utilizes easily recognizable buttons. This allows you to quickly locate buttons that are linked to certain tasks and will help you better understand the various operations that EPSON Scan Tool Light supports.

Professional Mode --- Professional Mode provides more options and greater control over your scanned image.

Opening EPSON Scan Tool Light

You can start EPSON Scan Tool Light by double-clicking the EPSON Scan Tool Light icon on your desktop, or by opening it from a TWAIN-compliant application such as Adobe Photoshop. Some functions in Professional Mode and all functions in Home Mode are disabled when you start EPSON Scan Tool Light from a TWAIN-compliant application.

The easiest way to start EPSON Scan Tool Light is to double-click the EPSON Scan Tool Light icon on your desktop. EPSON Scan Tool Light opens in Home mode.

Closing EPSON Scan Tool Light

To close EPSON Scan Tool Light, click the  Exit button.

Frame tool buttons

Frame Selection

Click this button to select a frame or frames. You can then move or resize them.

Hand

Click this button to display a hand which can be used to drag the image when it does not entirely fit in the Preview window.

Zoom in

Click this button to zoom in on an image.

Zoom Scan

Click this button to fit the active frame to the Preview Window and view it at the highest resolution.

Zoom out

Click this button to zoom out on an image.

Refresh

Click this button to refresh the frames.

Add

Click this button to draw a new frame in the Preview Window.

Copy

Click this button to copy a frame.

Delete

Click this button to delete the active frame. It will be removed when you exit the program.

Go to next Frame

Click this button to activate the next frame.

Clockwise 90 degrees

Click this button to rotate the frame 90 degrees clockwise.

Counterclockwise 90 degrees

Click this button to rotate the frame 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Flip Horizontal

Click this button to flip the frame horizontally.

Flip Vertical

Click this button to flip the frame vertically.

Invert

Click this button to invert the colors.

Rulers

The horizontal ruler can be used to help you locate an image and calculate its size.

Click this button to change the unit of measurement. Each time you press this button, the ruler settings change in the following order: mm ruler, pixel ruler, inch ruler, and no ruler.
