As you use your browser, cache files will start accumulating on your drive. This corresponds with the websites and the content you have visited over time. As a solution for Mozilla-made browsers, MZCacheView is a tool which was designed to help users monitor and interact with their Firefox cache files.

As this is portable software, no installation is required. This is very much fitting for a program such as this one: launching its executable will reveal a simplistic, but functional main interface, where the browser cache files are all front-and-center. It only takes the tool a few seconds to scan for the relevant cache files for your browser: do keep in mind that only Firefox-related cache will be recognized.

The list will feature the respective cache file's name, its type and size, as well as the URL it originated from. Double-clicking will reveal at-a-glance information about the given element: details about its last modified and fetched dates will be featured, along with other server-related data.

If you feel off about some of the scanned files, you might want to consider deleting some of them. Doing so is as easy as selecting the cached elements you wish to erase, then pressing the Delete button. This is especially useful when you want to remove tracking-related files.

In terms of saving stuff, you can export the cache files to a different location and back them up, and you can choose them individually if you want to.
