Ashampoo released the beta for version 6 of their screen capture application, Snap. The fresh build is designed to increase performance and productivity.

Ashampoo Snap 6 integrates multi-core support and intelligent load balancing and provides real-time adjustments and live previews. This boosts up productivity as you can check the modifications as they happen.

However, the more important features relate to video capturing. In Ashampoo Snap 6, you can apply a time-lapse effect to video recordings or snap stills from your web cam.

It also comes with full support for 32-bit translucency in the entire application. Furthermore, the application improves PDF support through a new rendering engine for this format, which also works in Windows Servers systems.

The stable release for Ashampoo Snap 6 is scheduled for October 24. Check the full list of modifications on this pageDownload Ashampoo Snap.
