AutoCAD 360, the official AutoCAD mobile app which arrived in the store a couple of weeks ago, today received the first update, so Windows 8.1 users are recommended to deploy this as soon as possible to make sure that everything works as expected.

According to the official release notes published in the Windows Store, this new version of the application only includes bug fixes, most likely based on the feedback received from users in the very first days of availability.

The feature lineup stays unchanged in this release and includes options to view DWG, DWF, and DXF files, support for both offline and online modes, synchronization with the AutoCAD 360 account and layout control to quickly switch between model space and paper space.

The application offers support for both touch and non-touch devices, so you can install it on desktops computers and tablets alike. Windows RT compatibility is also available, so Surface RT buyers can also give it a shot at absolutely no cost.

Obviously, as it's the case with all the other Metro apps available in the store, the update is automatically delivered to your computer, but if you'd like to get the new version manually, just download AutoCAD 360 for Windows 8.1 from this link.
