Yesterday, Google rolled out updates for Chrome Stable (as a result of Adobe Flash Player’s update to version 11) and Chrome Dev. Beta channel follows closely, as the company released a new version, which sees a newer V8 JavaScript engine (3.5.10.15).

Chrome Beta 15.0.874.81 is now available on all supported platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac and Chrome Frame), all packing the new V8. The changes in the new version seem to focus on bookmarks in general, as they affect the BookmarkBarController, bookmark synchronization events and the floating bookmarks bar for the redesigned new tab page (NTP4) for Chrome 15 (M15) beta branch.

Fixes on Windows do not tackle bookmarks but repair a rendering error (content behind Chrome rendered in front of the Chrome window) repaired. Also, they added heuristics to patch up the alpha channel when clipboard images were read.
