Mozilla isn't yet offering a 64-bit version of its popular Firefox browser, but third-party developers out there have already created such builds obviously based on Mozilla's engine.

Cyberfox is one of these apps and thanks to an update rolled out earlier today, the application is expected be even faster and reliable regardless of the Windows version that's powering your computer.

Cyberfox 29.0.1 comes with new options for tabs, but also with an option to make the installation of CyberCTR optional during browser setup. Various visual improvements for the installer, an optional restart browser toolbar button and a new section under the advanced options tab called “Features” are all available as well.

The new build obviously packs lots of bug fixes as well, so in case you've been experiencing some issues or crashes in the older builds, this would the right moment to update.

A very important detail about CyberFox is that while it works on all 64-bit versions of Windows, it no longer offers support for Windows XP, the operating system that Microsoft discontinued on April 8. On the other hand, you can install it on Windows Vista, 7, and 8 without any issue.

Overall, there is no doubt that this new update comes in handy to users who were hoping to see a 64-bit version of Firefox hitting the market, so download Cyberfox 29.0.1 right now to get all improvements on your computer as well.
