14 DAY TRIAL // A new maintenance release has emerged for FlashFXP client. It is a minor revision that implements several fixes and improvements and increments the build number to 4.4.0.1990.
The developer did away with a problem that caused some commands to be sent to the server with a 60-second wait timeout; as some commands take longer to execute and in order to avoid closing the connection before finishing their task, some of them have been exempt from the enforced timeout.
If the automatic update feature is enabled, the application disables the “run update” update button.
Several stability issues have been removed in this revision; they would occur when importing invalid XML via the Site Import or after the initiating the task. On the same note, server file search should complete with no problems when closing the application and a search is in progress.
