Google Chrome 30 stable was released this week, bringing lots of improvements and stability fixes on all platforms that are supported right now.

Today, the unofficial portable version of Chrome got the same update, so in case you’re planning to use the app on the go without prior installation, this is the right moment to download it.

Google Chrome Portable 30.0.1599.69 stable comes with absolutely the same improvements as the original build, but it only supports Windows, so you can’t launch it on Linux or Mac.

Since it’s the full 30 build, the app should work flawlessly, without any bugs or performance issues expected to be spotted after launching it.

As far as Windows is concerned, the portable build supports all of them, including the upcoming Windows 8.1 OS update that’s set to be launched on October 18.
