The famous Line chatting solution is also available for Windows 8 computers, so users who wish to download it can find the app at no cost in the integrated Windows Store.

The program provides the same great feature package as on all the other operating systems, including photo, video and emoji support. Of course, it comes with free voice calls, as well as with multi-language support, such as English, Chinese and Japanese.

The Windows 8 application is compatible not only with x86 and x64 versions of Microsoft’s new operating system, but also with ARM devices, so Surface RT users are also allowed to use Line.

In addition, because it tries to make the most of Windows 8’s Modern UI, support for the “Snap” view mode is also available in order to run it side by side with another app.
