If you're looking to customize your Windows 7 or 8.1 computer with the look of Windows 10 but you're not a fan of transformation packs that deploy all kinds of junkware on your PC, this is the right pack for you.

The Windows 10 icon pack allows you to configure folders, This PC, OneDrive, and all the other icons on your current Windows installation to look more modern and fresh, just like the ones in Microsoft's new operating system.

All files included in this pack come with the .ico extension, so it should't be too hard to find a way to replace the ones on your desktop or find an app that does that for you.

And yet, there's a big argument online right now regarding the design of the new icons, as some people believe that they look really awful and shouldn't be used for a new operating system revamped from the ground up.

The new Windows 10 icons, however, have been designed to look flat, just like the new approach of the operating system, so they seem to fit the desktop and File Explorer really well.

Of course, Windows 10 is still in development phase and the launch shouldn't take place sooner than the fall of 2015, so quite a lot of these icons could be changed by the time the OS gets the go-ahead.
