Emsisoft Anti-Malware has been updated today to a new minor build, 7.0.0.17, which promises improved overall stability and performance. It also adds support for Windows 2012 Server.

Among the most important modifications touted by the developer are faster initialization for online updates, better recovery of registry values affected by malware during the cleaning procedure and repairing a compatibility problem between the Surf Protection module and Internet Explorer 10.

Additional repairs refer to crashes occurring while scanning in Security Setup Wizard or problems in scheduler calculations used to evaluate the start time of auto-update and scheduled scans.

Furthermore, the issue with multiple reloading of signatures after online update should no longer create trouble and the count for scanned objects should no longer be erroneous in Commandline Scanner. A full list of changes can be found on this page.
