Early Firefox build for Windows 8 operating system

Mozilla released an experimental build for Firefox, designed from ground up for Windows 8. This version of the Mozilla browser should be capable to run in both the classic desktop environment and the Modern UI.

Since this nightly build is only a preview for the Modern UI in Windows 8, many features are incomplete; it might not even work in metro mode, like it happened to us. Also, profile-guided optimizations are turned off, so it is slower than the regular variant.

What you should get with this very early preview is a metro-style Firefox start page, support for touch and swipe gestures and synchronization, integration with Windows 8 charms as well as the new Australis theme.

Although the auto-updating is enabled in this release, the activity will be carried out through the desktop version. Flash support is not yet available and add-ons are not enabled at the moment, but these will be available in future versions of the browser.
