14 DAY TRIAL // As we reported to you a couple of days ago, Microsoft is working on a new project called “Work Assistant,” which seems to be a new version of Clippy specifically designed for Windows Phone and created to help you perform a number of tasks in Office.
Work Assistant is still in private development stage, so you won't be able to give it a try unless Microsoft allows you to, but fortunately, we've already found the very first screenshots showing the app in action.
Published by WindowsBlogItalia, these photos show that Work Assistant is more or less an evolved version of Cortana that's designed to work with Office, so don't be too surprised if Cortana is indeed at the core of this project.
It can work with basic voice commands for now, the aforementioned source writes, such as open, share, and search. More are, however, expected to be introduced in the near future, as the team continues work on this project.
What's interesting is that Bill Gates might be personally involved in development work, as he has recently revealed in a reddit AMA that he focuses on a new technology which helps you find things much more easily than before.
Details are very scarce right now, but this particular app could be part of Windows 10 for phones when it becomes available to users later this year, most likely in the fall of 2015 together with the PC version of the operating system.
