Gmail Touch is undoubtedly one of the best Gmail clients available on Windows 8, as it brings not only a completely touch-optimized GUI, but also easy to use features to quickly send and receive messages.

The app has recently received a new update, but there’s no information on the changes, as the official release notes point to the previous enhancements rolled out with an older build.

Of course, the app continues to work on all Windows 8 builds, as it packs x86, x64 and ARM support to get along with Windows RT too.

The previous build brought a number of improvements regarding the user interface, as well as bug fixes, toast notifications and live tile support to display the latest messages right on the Start Screen.
