The developer build of Google Chrome has again received several improvements, so a new version is now available for download for users who wish to try out some features before reaching the stable release.

While Windows and Linux users are provided with version number 29.0.1530.2, Mac OS X users are allowed to download the 29.0.1530.4 build, but both are coming with the same improvements.

The new release was specifically rolled out to fix some known crashes, as well as other bugs, Google explained in the changelog.

In addition, the build is addressing an important bug that caused the cached CSS to be used regardless of media type, so users running the dev flavor are recommended to get this new one for improved performance.
