The leaked build of Windows 8.1 / Blue that reached the web a few hours ago packs several Internet Explorer 11 improvements, some of which are specifically aimed at developers, according to new screenshots.

As we can all see, the developer tools available in Microsoft’s new in-house browser feature a brand new look that reminds of Visual Studio, boasting several modern design elements already available across Microsoft’s product range.

Specifically created to help developers check out the source codes of web pages and test performance of their websites, IE11’s developer tools can be easily launched by pressing F12 on the keyboard, just like in the previous versions of the browser.

Of course, these improvements come exactly at the right time, as Microsoft is planning to release the first public beta of Blue at the BUILD developer conference in June.
