Mozilla has launched Firefox 26 beta 1 earlier today, so third-party developers across the world have moved quickly to update their apps in order to work with the new browser.

Internet Download Manager 6.18 build 5 is one of the apps that come with support for Firefox 26 and SeaMonkey 2.21, while also improving video recognition in Google Chrome.

At the same time, the new build fixes a bug when assembling video files with high bitrate, so improved experience when download clips should also be offered.

Internet Download Manager continues to work flawlessly on basically all Windows versions on the market and even though no dedicated support is being offered for Windows 8.1, this particular edition seems to be fully compatible as well.

All in all, if you’ve already installed Firefox 26 and you’re now looking for a powerful download manager, you better download Internet Download Manager 6.18 build 5 right now.
