Times Square is probably the worst place to be right now if you’re planning to buy Microsoft’s Surface tablet.

Getting in line to buy the device in this world renowned commercial intersection could prove to be quite painful for many Microsoft fanboys, as the number of people waiting for the big launch is apparently getting closer to 1,000.

The good news is that the first 100 consumers will also get an Xbox Music Pass worth $100 (€77) if they buy the device, according to an official announcement.

All Surface models available online in the United States are currently sold out, so in case you wish to get one today, you have no other choice than to join the crowd.
