Redmond has just announced that it’s kicking off Red Stripe Deals for apps and games available in the store for Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1 users.

Inspired from the Windows Phone Store, the discount campaign will be refreshed every week with three new apps and games that will be available for at least 50 percent off their original price.

“Typically, this will be one Xbox game, one indie game, and one top-rated app. These Red Stripe Deals will start Thursdays of each week and end the following Wednesday,” Microsoft explained in a blog post.

This week, users can purchase Reckless Racing Ultimate for $2.49 / €1.85 (down from $4.99 / €3.70), Einstein Brain Trainer for $2.99 / €2.25 ($5.99 / €4.45), and Joining Hands 2 for $1.49 / €1.10 ($3.49 / €2.60).

Of course, all these offers are published in the Windows Store, and you can purchase them by simply clicking on the buy link of each app or game.
