Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday updates also comprised several Surface RT and Pro fixes, some of which have been specifically aimed at resolving longtime bugs affecting the company’s tablets.

According to some posts on the Microsoft Answers forums, the company has also solved the random muting bug that caused the tablet to suddenly cut the sound on Surface tablets.

“Since the recent update in March my Surface appears not to be randomly muting anymore. I hope the problem is solved, thanks for the helpful info and the patch Microsoft. Be interesting to know if the problem has been solved for everyone,” one of the users posted.

The company is yet to publicly confirm whether the bug has been fixed or not, but more information will most likely be provided soon as more users are deploying the latest patches.
