Microsoft continues to invest in new technologies that would help physically challenged people to use computer applications, this time with several IT tools that could see daylight in the future.
Microsoft India showcased several new solutions in New Delhi, according to a report by Times of India, including the existing magnification feature for partially visually impaired users, and the narrator.
“Today, we need technology that can be accessed by one and all, regardless of any age, ability or language. Here is where Microsoft steps in,” Gauri Arora, manager, Corporate Citizenship, Microsoft India, was quoted as saying.
In addition to all these new software applications, Microsoft is also working with state governments of Maharashtra and Gujarat to optimize their official websites and make them more easily accessible for disabled users with the help of special technologies.
