The company’s very own Surface 2 tablet is now available for only $199 (150 euro) on Microsoft’s eBay store, but since quantities are limited, you should really hurry up to get one.
There is a catch, however. All sold tablets are refurbished models and only come with 32 GB of storage space, so no other models can be purchased for the same amount of money.
The Surface 2 comes with a 10.6-inch display, 32 GB of storage space, and 2 GB of RAM, which should be enough to run Windows RT 8.1 without any performance slowdown. The tablet also includes a full-size USB 3.0 port, a microSD card reader, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support.
Since it’s powered by Windows RT, the tablet cannot run full Windows applications on the desktop, so you need to stick to the Modern UI and the apps you can find in the store.
And still, this is quite a great device if you’d like to boost your productivity on the go, as Microsoft Office is also being offered free of charge. The tablet can offer up to 10 hours of battery life in normal usage conditions.
