14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft yesterday unveiled the second-generation Surface tablet, including a successor for the Surface RT that packs several hardware upgrades.
The device comes with a dual-angle kickstand, an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and Window RT 8.1, with the operating system specifically optimized to be used in portrait and landscape modes.
The Surface 2 is already available for pre-order, with Microsoft confirming that sales will officially begin on October 22, four days after the launch of the new Windows 8.1.
At the same time, the tech giant confirmed that an LTE version of the tablet would go on sale next year, just to make sure that buyers are provided with the maximum productivity on the go. No other details on this new SKU have been provided.
