We’re getting very used to Microsoft attacking Google and its allegedly unfair practices, but the Redmond-based technology giant seems to be very keen on making people aware that Gmail violates their privacy.
This time, the company has talked with random people on the street to find out their opinion on the way Gmail serves ads to users reading their emails.
Unsurprisingly, all of them have expressed their frustration regarding the way Google brings ads in their inboxes and not a single person criticized Microsoft for its campaign against the search giant.
As usual, Microsoft continues to encourage users to make the switch to Outlook.com, the revamped email service that’s said to be a lot more careful when it comes to users’ privacy than Google’s own Gmail. Outlook.com is no longer a beta service and is now available for all users worldwide.
