Trashing Apple and its iPad has become quite a daily routine for Microsoft in the last couple of months, as the Softies are trying to promote their devices by making fun of the world’s number one tablet.

This time, the iPad mini goes up against the Acer Iconia W3, the first 8.1-inch Windows 8 tablet that was specifically designed to bring Microsoft’s modern operating system in a smaller form factor.

This time, the Redmond-based tech giant uses the voice of Siri to highlight some key features of its Windows 8 operating system, including the Office productivity suite, touch-optimized gaming, and Outlook.

At the same time, Microsoft is also trying to show everyone that Windows 8 tablets are a lot more affordable, as the 32 GB Acer Iconia W3 is priced at only $299 (€225) versus $429 (€320) for the 32 GB iPad mini.
