14 DAY TRIAL // Today Microsoft has rolled out a handful of updates for some of its MSN apps for Windows Phone, most of which come with bug fixes and performance improvements.
The software giant hasn’t explained what exactly is new in these new apps, but release notes published online claim that the new versions come with bug fixes, performance improvements, live tile update fixes and other unnamed enhancements that are most likely optimizations supposed to make them run more smoothly across a wider range of devices.
MSN Money, News, Sports, and Weather have all been updated today during this new rollout, so in case you’re using a Windows Phone device and were waiting for improvements to any of these apps, have a look in the store and get them as soon as possible.
Given the fact that all are just minor updates, they won’t make such a big difference on your phone, but since they include bug fixes and other optimizations, a noticeable performance improvement could be spotted on some specific Windows Phone models, especially on low-end devices.
