Microsoft continues its plan to expand international availability of the Surface tablet with a new announcement, this time concerning three more countries.

Thailand, Malaysia, and Korea will get the Pro model as soon as this month, but pricing and other details are yet to be officially unveiled by the Redmond-based company.

The tablet will debut in Thailand on June 5, while Malaysian buyers will get it two days later on June 7. Finally, the company will launch the device in Korea on June 11.

Word is that Microsoft is struggling to bring the Surface tablets in new countries in anticipation of the second-generation unit that’s likely to hit the shelves sometime this year.

The first units could be unveiled later this month at the BUILD developer conference, also set to witness the launch of Windows 8.1.
