Tech giant Microsoft has just released a new version of Minesweeper for Windows 8, one of the company’s games that are enjoying a terrific success right now.

Microsoft rolled out improvements for several Windows 8 titles today, so it’s no surprise that Minesweeper received its own batch of updates, especially because adopters of the company’s new operating system also reported a number of performance issues on Windows RT devices.

The release notes indicate that this new build brings stability updates, so Minesweeper should now work a bit smoother on every single Windows 8 build out there, including x86, x64 and ARM.

Of course, the game continues to provide users with the same great feature list, including daily challenges, multiple difficulty modes, Xbox Live support and an adventure mode exclusively available for Windows 8 users.
