This is one of the best Windows Phone concepts ever

If you're a fan of Windows Phone but still expect Windows 10 to bring important improvements in terms of design and looks, you might be a bit disappointed with the first preview build that was released to users on February 12.

And while there are signs that the UI could be significantly changed before Windows 10 for phones reaches the final stages of development, there's one concept out there that helps us remember that, with a little luck, Windows Phone could really become the most beautiful mobile OS on the market.

This concept is not new and dates to the time when Windows 10 was still called Windows 9, but it definitely has something that could help Microsoft boots its market share on smartphones.

The redesigned Start screen not only that looks great but it also sticks to the classic approach with live tiles, with the only difference that new sizes are now offered, along with a flatter design and little transparency.

At first glance, this concept still needs some improvements and tiles could be a little bit smaller to make room for more on the same screen, but such a design would surely appeal to more users.

The designer also imagined the Action Center and the lock screen, both of which would look really good, while the latter would also feature a new way to unlock the device by swiping right.

Overall, this is probably one of the concepts that are really worth a look and not necessarily by us, the users, but by Microsoft itself. Let's just hope that the final Windows 10 for phones could get anywhere close to this concept.
