The Surface with Windows 8 Pro is now up for grabs and even if the first consumer deliveries have been affected by stock problems, Microsoft claims the initial response was absolutely amazing.
Panos Panay, the man in charge with the Surface division at Microsoft and the one responsible for the new tablet, talks about the device in a video posted on YouTube.
The clip provides some behind-the-scenes information about the Surface Pro, but also about the way the device mixes the productivity of a laptop with the portability of a tablet.
The Surface with Windows 8 Pro comes in two different versions, with 64 GB and 128 GB of storage space, while pricing starts at $899 (€672). The device is currently available in Canada and in the United States exclusively, but international availability will be announced at a later date.
