Microsoft has finally confirmed that a Start button would be included in Windows 8.1, while also revealing that the new feature would be always visible on the desktop.
In addition, the company published a picture with the popular Start button in Metro mode, as users can easily access it by simply moving the mouse cursor in the lower left corner.
The button thus replaces the Start Screen preview and lets you click it extremely easy, thus giving everyone the chance to quickly get to the live tiles.
Unfortunately for users who expected to get the Start Menu back in Windows, that’s not going to happen and Microsoft continues to rely on the new Start Screen in the next versions of its operating system.
What’s more, consumers would even be allowed to completely disable the Start button, just in case they like the Windows 8 UI more.
