User creates concept of a very innovative Microsoft device

Microsoft is indeed struggling to bring its platforms together by merging its operating systems, but there might be a way to do that that could make the company’s work a lot more effective.

The Microsoft Surface Lumia, which is currently a user concept imagining a new Microsoft device, envisions a new project that would allow the company to tackle both the phone and the PC world with the same product.

As you could figure out by simply reading its name, this is a phone that can easily become a PC when connected to an external monitor using the dedicated video-out port at the bottom of the device.

It has a magnesium case, just like the Surface tablet, and comes with a very minimalist design that should appeal to those who want to keep things simple, while also remaining productive on the go.

While this does look good, there still are a lot of things to change about such a device if it were to see daylight. The bezel needs to be smaller, the camera clearly has to be better, and the device should come with more advanced capabilities, such as a USB port for full PC capabilities.

Windows 10 would obviously be at the core of everything, and given Microsoft’s work to bring the same OS on all platforms, that wouldn’t be such a hard project if such a device ever gets the green light.
