Work on Windows 9 hasn’t even started according to some reports, but designers across the world are trying to envision some of the features to be part of the new release with a bunch of concepts that more or less make sense.

This Windows 9 RTM concept created by DeviantArt user p0isonParadise comes with the most requested improvements, including a Start Menu with transparency, desktop gadgets, the possibility to run Metro apps outside the Modern UI, and multiple desktops.

The weather app is directly integrated into the Start Menu, so the current conditions are displayed when you click “Start,” while Metro apps can now be pinned to desktop, a feature that’s said to be part of the upcoming Windows 8.1 Update 1 scheduled to debut in April this year.

If previous reports are true, Windows 9 should be here in April 2015, with the new OS version expected to also pack a Start Menu and several other important improvements.
