The latest maintenance release for VirtualBox brings to the table fixes and improvements for various components.

Build 4.1.18 of the application touches on VMM (Virtual Machine Manager) by repairing host freezes with 64-bit guests on 32-bit Linux hosts as well as a rare error that popped up after resetting the guest.

Another rare bug related to AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface), caused a guest memory corruption after the guest storage controller had been reset.

In the case of VRDP (VirtualBox Remote Desktop Protocol), the new revision adds a workaround for desktop clients that failed to properly update the screen size when minimized.

Linux-related fixes address the problem with device driver unloading on kernels 3.2.18 and newer due to an invalid reference counter. In the case of Mac OS X hosts, the developer eliminated issues occurring when running Leopard / Snow Leopard.
