Microsoft officially unveiled the second-generation Surface Pro last month, so the company is now in the middle of a large marketing process supposed to show everyone that its new device is the right choice for a wide variety of purposes. Including gaming, that is.

Redmond posted a video on YouTube to show that the Surface Pro 2 was really up to serious gaming, as the device comes with upgraded hardware and the full version of Windows 8.1 Pro.

The Surface Pro 2 is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and features a 10.6-inch full HD display. The device is said to offer up to 15 days of battery life in idle mode.

“Install almost all your everyday programs, including the entire Microsoft Office Suite. With a digital pen to take notes and draw, Surface Pro 2 is ultra-flexible,” Microsoft says.
