Designer creates a new UI for Windows 10

It's no surprise that users expect Windows 10 to bring a lot more changes in terms of looks, and while Microsoft appears to stick to the original Windows appearance, third-party designers across the world create more stunning interpretations of the new operating system.

The concept you see here in the first photo is the creation of SolMiler, a designer who created a much more appealing look for the Windows 10 UI, which not only that is eye-catching but is also doable in a way that wouldn't significantly impact productivity on the traditional PC.

This concept revamps the look of File Explorer, the default file manager available in Windows, and makes context menus and the taskbar look a bit more eye-candy in a way that would definitely appeal to many more users.

Windows Media Player also gets some love and now boasts a completely new appearance that perfectly matches the idea of a modern design, while notifications have been revamped with a flattened approach that gets in line with Microsoft's new Metro UI.

Obviously, there still are a few things to be improved here and there in this concept, including the difference between background and active windows, but Microsoft could definitely take care of everything if it really wants to make this happen. If only the company were ready for such a dramatic design change on the Windows desktop...
