Microsoft has just released the August 2015 Security Release ISO Image, so if you want to get all Windows security updates in the easy-to-use ISO format, this is the best choice.

This DVD5 ISO image contains all the security updates that Microsoft rolled out in August as part of its Patch Tuesday cycle, so note that bug fixes and improvements are not included, which means that it can only help you patch vulnerabilities found in the operating system.

All Windows versions are targeted by these patches, including both older and newer, such as Windows 7 and Windows 10, and in case you’re still on Windows XP, there’s nothing for you here. Windows XP support ended on April 8, 2014, and Microsoft no longer patches its vulnerabilities, despite the fact that there are big chances that some of the security holes find in newer Windows to exist in XP too.

In case you’re wondering who needs an ISO to install Windows updates, Microsoft explains that this method comes in handy to system administrators who aren’t using an automated service such as Windows Update, so on computers without Internet access, this is really a Godsend.

In the end, there’s no doubt that many system admins are waiting for this release every month, so they can now go ahead and download the August 2015 Security Release ISO Image right away.
