Microsoft has just rolled out a new pack of updates for Windows 10 apps, this time aimed at the built-in Calculator and Camera tools that are delivered with the operating system.

But just like before, Microsoft has apparently forgotten to attach a change log, so this new release is most likely all about bug fixes and performance improvements. This still makes them must-haves for all those running Windows 10, especially if they use the apps on a regular basis.

In Windows 10, the Calculator app has received a major overhaul and is no longer the classic and boring program that was in Windows 8.1. Calculator is now a universal app that comes with the same look and features on all Windows 10 devices, such as PCs and smartphones.

What’s more, it boasts many more features than its predecessor, so in addition to making use of the standard, scientific or programmer calculator, you can convert volume, length, temperature, energy, area, speed, time, power, data, and pressure. This means that it includes more apps in a single UI, so we’re pretty sure that only few people actually miss the old Calculator.

As is the case with all the other Windows 10 app updates, the new versions are available in the store, but in case you haven’t received them yet, check out the Downloads and updates section to get them right away.
