Microsoft has just rolled out a new Office insider build to introduce a couple of features and boost the functionality of the productivity suite on Windows systems.

The new build is version 16.0.6868.2048 and brings two new major features for insiders, namely collaboration improvements and AutoCAD support in Visio.

“Working with others couldn’t be any easier. You can now not only share and work on files with others as well as add comments, but also chat with them, review previous versions of the document you’re working on and restore one of them if needed,” Microsoft explains.

As far as AutoCAD file support in Microsoft Visio is concerned, you can now import files from version 2010 and 2013, but also add shapes, elements, and configuration to enhance your work.

Keep in mind that this version is only available for insiders, but the included features should be shipped to retail users as well when Microsoft releases the next update for Office. The Office Insider program follows in the footsteps of the Windows sibling and allows users to try out new features before they are released to everyone, and at the same time, the company also collects feedback to further improve them.

Today’s release is only aimed at Windows systems, but Mac computers could receive them as well soon, as the program also includes Apple devices.
