Windows 10 will debut in just a couple of weeks and the new operating system will be available as a digital download, on the traditional DVD disk, but also on USB sticks, which are supposed to make it faster and easier to install.

But there’s one app that makes it even easier to try out Windows 10 and set up your own USB drive to create a portable install of the operating system and use it on the go.

Called WinToUSB, this little yet powerful app is amazingly easy to use, providing you with a clean UI and intuitive features that don’t require advanced computer skills to successfully set up a portal Windows USB Drive.

Version 2.2, which was officially released today, comes with a number of improvements for newer operating systems, including Windows 10, so if you want, you can give it a try with the existing Windows 10 Insider Preview builds right away.

In case you’re curious to find out the advantages of setting up a Windows To Go drive, everything is in its name: such a drive can be used on different computers, so you can basically access it anywhere you go and continue work just like on a portable PC.

Needless to say, this app is completely free and can be used on Windows 7 and newer OS versions, so go ahead and download WinToUSB to see how easy to use it actually is.
