No Simpler Accounting is a basic and easy-to-use piece of software that comes in handy for everyone who wants to enter and keep an eye on all the payments and incomes in a day, week or month. It features revenue and expense reports that can be exported to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

The setup takes little time to finish and doesn't require too much effort from your side. However, make sure you have .NET Framework installed on the drive as it's required for the app to work.

The provided layout is self-explanatory and clean, structured into several menus (home, enter data, reports), each with a specific sub-menus.

When entering a new income, you have to specify the date, short description, amount, payment type (e.g. cash, check, credit card) and category. The same fields are applied for the expenses as well. It's possible to create your own groups, like bank, work, private or bills to filter the information faster.

Sadly, No Simpler Accounting doesn't come with a records list to easily view the entries. The only option to display your payments or incomes is through the report function. Plus, the tool offers as search criteria the record ID number, which makes it hard to find a specific item if the database is large.

It's possible to generate reports based on the income and payment categories and for a specific date interval. The summaries can be exported to XLS file format, while the database can be backed up in case you encounter issues.
