If you want to protect your computer against malicious activity, then you need a good system security technology, like a product from Avira.
Avira Professional Security is an antivirus program designed for business purposes.
The interface is as user friendly as Avira has already familiarized us with. Rookies and advanced users alike can use this application.
Here you can view the current status of PC and Internet protection. PC protection comes with a system scanner for local and removable drives, rootkits and active malware, Windows system directory, quick or complete scan, or manual selection.
Once you have selected your scanning mode, you can see Avira as it thoroughly looks into your system for any irregularities. Files can be deleted, repaired, moved or renamed.
At Internet Protection you can adjust the security level for the firewall, or run a scan through your e-mails. And yes, scanning tasks can be scheduled, so you don't need to look after your computer.
Any events are reported, and updates are made on a regular basis (whether they're automatic or manual). There are a bunch of features you can play with in Avira Professional Security.
We ran a full scan of our system (which took a very long while to complete), but Avira managed to found some threats that were undetected by previously used software.
During scanning, CPU and memory are significantly used.
So, protecting your computer system may be a difficult task at times, but Avira Professional Security proves it lives up to the challenge. The full version price is reasonable as well.
