Developed by AVG Technologies, Virus Remover for Win32/Neshta is a small-sized utility designed to find files infected with the Win32/Neshta viruses and remove them. It shows statistics and features some handy options that are intuitive enough to be figured out even by less experienced users.

As there is no setup pack involved, you can drop the app's executable file in any part of the hard drive and just click it to run. Another option is to keep it stored on a USB flash drive to directly launch it on any PC and check for viruses. More importantly, it doesn't modify Windows registry settings.

The GUI is represented by a large window with a neatly organized structure that, although it doesn't put emphasis on looks, it's quite easy to navigate. The scanning operation is automatically started at launch, and statistics are gathered with the full path and status for each scanned file.

The summary reveals total scanned, clean and infected objects, along with cleaned, deleted and not cleaned items. Log details can be saved to file for closer inspection.

It's possible to select or highlight clean or infected files, along with those that cannot be cleaned. You can copy selected file to another location, rename them, or remove them from the computer.

No error dialogs popped up in our tests, and the software tool didn't hang or crash. It carried out scanning and cleaning operations swiftly, and had minimal impact on computer performance, running on low CPU and RAM.
