PhotoToFilm is a program which enables you to easily transform a series of pictures into a movie.

The interface of the tool is plain and simple. You can import JPEG or BMP images by using only the file browser, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.

So, you can jump to a particular picture and organize all images, as well as select an audio track that will be used as the soundtrack.

In addition, you can select the video compression codec, specify the output destination, as well as enable dynamic pictures, crossfading, single frame mode and "On Video Text Insertion".

Plus, you can set the time per picture, match audio, open a log file, specify the image resolution and preview results.

Moreover, you can save the project, apply a grayscale or sepia effect to the images and save the movie in the AVI format. Settings can be reset to default at any time.

PhotoToFilm takes up a low-to-moderate quantity of system resources, includes a video tutorial for noobies, complete a task in a reasonable amount of time and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests.

However, the demo version displays a watermark on the output file and PhotoToFilm contains a very limited range of graphic editing options. Also, its interface could use some improvements. Otherwise, we recommend this tool to all users, especially novices.
